Todd H. Garmer is the Executive Director of East Haddam Youth & Family Services.As Executive Director at EHYFS, Todd is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and daily management of the organization. His role includes a wide range of responsibilities aimed at fulfilling the agency's mission of promoting the health, safety, and well-being of youth and families in the East Haddam community.
In addition to his role at EHYFS, Todd has an extensive background in nonprofit leadership. He has served on various boards, contributing to organizations that support individuals with special needs and promote community development.
Todd's commitment to community service and his strategic vision have been instrumental in enhancing the impact and reach of the organizations he has been involved with.
Taylor Setzler holds a dual role at EHYFS as the Prevention and Youth Program Coordinator.
She develops and coordinates community/school-based intervention and education programs, directed at reducing youth substance use, enhancing positive youth development, and mental-emotional wellbeing. Taylor administers two grants for the organization; a federally funded STOP ACT grant, and state funded Local Prevention Council grant. She also sits as the chair of East Haddam's Local Prevention Council, holding monthly meetings with key community sectors to stimulate prevention activities and raise awareness of youth substance use."

Andrea Webster is the Social Services Coordinator. She collaborates with local social service initiatives to provide a centralized delivery and referral system to residents who need assistance with meeting basic needs. This includes referring residents to the Food Bank, the Clothing Bank, The Senior Center, the River Valley Personal Care Products program, energy/fuel assistance programs, housing support (rental and mortgage assistance) and public transportation.
In addition to referring residents to various social service programs, the Social Services Coordinator is able to assist residents with applying for benefits online, such as SNAP, Cash Assistance, CT Energy Assistance Program and Operation Fuel. The Social Services Coordinator collaborates with the Selectman’s Office, The East Haddam School District, the Department of Emergency Management, local churches and local volunteer organizations. The coordinator also collaborates with regional and state-wide social service organizations such as the Salvation Army, Operation Fuel, Community Renewal Team, Husky Health, Department of Social Services, Department of Aging and Disability Services, Affordable Housing and Home Repair programs through HUD.
Felicia McPherson is a dedicated Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Psychology and a passion for supporting children and families. With extensive experience in assessments, care planning, and case management, she is committed to fostering resilience, well-being, and long-term growth in the communities she serves. Felicia brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to her work, always striving to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
Outside of her professional role, Felicia is a devoted mother who values balance, empathy, and connection. She is continually seeking opportunities to grow, lead, and advocate for mental health and positive social change.
Kristen Waltamath is our Administrative Assistant and the welcoming face of our office. She oversees a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including greeting guests, managing incoming calls, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our office. Kristen also coordinates our Youth Job Bank, connecting local youth with residents seeking help with tasks like yard work, gardening, snow shoveling, babysitting, and other odd jobs. In addition, she works closely with both our Prevention & Youth Services Coordinator and Social Services Coordinator to support the planning and execution of agency events such as Summer Palooza, our annual Holiday Campaign, and a variety of parent and youth programs throughout the year.
